I am an arts filmmaker and photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland and have had the privilege of working internationally throughout an established career. I work across smaller independent briefs but also large-scale productions for numerous well-known clients.

Working within the arts has allowed me to develop a knowledge and skillbase that goes beyond the image-making process. I have the adaptability to work across brief-specific productions for film; including pre-production, direction and post-production but also in a less formal, observational and non-invasive filming style. I relish the opportunity to foster fun and engaging relationships with both client and subjects, to form the most beautifully creative images and films. My work has an organic sincerity and a strong visual identity which is centred around highlighting the sprit and personality of not only the artists on camera, but the organisations that commission me. Much of my time I work independently but can often be found collaborating with many of my peers and colleagues in the creative arts, from producers to filmmakers, lighting technicians to sound designers and more.

For me collaboration is when things really start to get exciting within filmmaking and over the past 15 years this has seen me produce award-winning work for the likes of the BBC, Edinburgh International Festival, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and beyond.
